Marriott Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn & Suites Hotel
This 204-room, dual-brand Residence Inn/Fairfield Inn & Suites brings together two premier Marriott brands in one building. A shared structure creates construction and operational efficiencies that will benefit this project’s owners for many years to come. Opening in the Summer of 2016, the hotel is ideally located at the premier City Park master development near Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. The airport is growing rapidly and is now the 6th largest in passenger volume in the United States with 732 daily departures. In addition to airport demand, this high-growth market features numerous Class A office parks, a new VA hospital, retail, apartments and single family residential, and close proximity to downtown Charlotte.
The Residence Inn portion of the hotel contains 113 rooms with a combination of studios and 1 and 2 bedroom Suites. Amenities include kitchenettes in every room, a breakfast area, meeting room, and guest laundry. The Fairfield Inn & Suites portion of the hotel contains 91 rooms with a quarter of those as Suites. Amenities include a breakfast area, business center, meeting room, and guest laundry. Both hotels share an expanded swimming pool, patio, and a 2-story fitness room.
Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn near I-77 at Harris Corners
The 7-story, 188-room, dual-brand Courtyard by Marriott/Residence Inn combines two of Marriott’s premier select service brands in one location. A shared structure will create construction and operational efficiencies that will provide benefits to this project’s owners for many years to come. With a construction start planned for late Spring of 2016, this hotel will provide needed accommodations to the growing Harris Corners sub-market. Harris Corners is located 8 miles north of downtown Charlotte on the heavily traveled I-77 corridor. The surrounding area contains 6 million square feet of office space. The property is adjacent to the Harris Corners Corporate Park and the 1 million square foot Northlake Mall is located nearby.
The Courtyard by Marriott portion of the hotel contains 94 rooms. Amenities include a beautiful lobby with bistro serving breakfast and dinner with an evening bar, a meeting space, contemporary furnishings with flexible spaces to work or relax, a business center, and a fitness center. The Residence Inn portion of the hotel has 94 rooms with a combination of studios and 1 and 2 bedroom Suites. Amenities include kitchenettes in every room, a breakfast area, a meeting room, access to the Courtyard bistro and bar, additional private patio, and a fitness center. The two hotels share a large outdoor pool and patio with fireplace and landscaping.
Marriott Residence Inn near I-485 at Steele Creek
MJM Group is in the design phase of the development of a 4-story, 119-room, Residence Inn by Marriott. I-485 is the beltline expressway surrounding Charlotte. The area at the Steele Creek exit is experiencing phenomenal growth, as large tracts of land are being master planned for a new town center with residential and commercial real estate development of every type underway. In addition to providing the Residence Inn with a beautiful setting with a wide variety of nearby amenities, the Steele Creek site boasts an abundance of nearby class A office space, and the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and downtown Charlotte less than 10 miles away. The Whitehall office park is located nearby, just one exit away on I-485.
The hotel will have 119 guest rooms with a combination of studios and 1 and 2 bedroom Suites. Planned amenities will include kitchenettes in every room, a breakfast area, meeting room, outdoor pool and patio, and fitness center.
